People You May Know helps you find and connect with other people on Facebook that you're likely to know. If you don’t want your timeline to appear in this section for people who are not friends with your friends, you can adjust your privacy settings. Here's how:

1. Choose the Privacy Settings option in the settings dropdown menu at the top of any Facebook page
2. Find the How You Connect section
3. Click Edit Settings
4. Change the settings for people who can send you friend requests to Friends of Friends
